What is a Binding Child Support Agreement?

A Binding Child Support Agreement (“BCSA”) is a private contract between parents which outlines each of their specific financial obligations and entitlements to child support. The agreement may make provision for payment of school fees, textbooks, uniforms, private health insurance, dental and orthodontics, occupational therapy (or other related treatments), co-curricular fees and other child related expenses as agreed between the parents.
