Credit Card Refund Policy

At Nevett Ford, we strive to provide clear and transparent payment and refund policies for our clients.

Please read the following terms regarding credit card refunds:

1. Refund Requests:
Refunds for payments made via credit card are generally processed
within 10 business days of the request, and depending on the financial institutions processing
times, provided the request meets the criteria outlined below.

2. Eligibility for Refunds;
Refunds will only be processed for payments that:

Are in accordance with our engagement terms and any applicable legal or professional
obligations.
Have been submitted in writing (assessed on a case-by-case basis).
Were processed in error by Nevett Ford Lawyers.
Were for services not rendered.
Were made for a billing amount that was incorrect.

3. Non-Refundable Fees:
Some fees may be non-refundable due to the nature of legal
services provided, such as:

Payments for services already rendered.
Payments for third-party costs or disbursements.
Retainer fees, which may be used to cover ongoing or anticipated legal services.

4. Processing of Refunds

To request a refund, clients must contact our finance department within 30 days of the original payment date.
Clients will need to provide details of the payment (e.g., transaction number, date, and $ amount).
Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used.

5. Credit Card Surcharge

Any credit card surcharges applied to payments made using American Express (Amex)
will not be refunded.
For payments made via other credit cards, any refund of surcharges will be at Nevett
Ford Lawyers’ discretion.

6. Disputed Transactions

If you believe a payment has been made in error, please contact our accounts team
promptly at 03 96147111 or accountsmelb@nevettford.com.au.
Chargebacks or disputes raised with your financial institution should be communicated to
us immediately to facilitate resolution.

For further inquiries regarding our refund policy, please contact our finance department on 03 96147111.

Nevett Ford Lawyers reserves the right to amend this policy at any time.
