Joining the legal sector in 2023, Julia has had wide exposure to different areas of the law. Beginning her experience at the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Services as a Criminal Administrator Volunteer, Julia was exposed to the complexities of Victoria’s Criminal Justice System.
This exposure was then expanded during Julia’s employment at a Criminal Law firm where she provided clerical and legal support to a strong team of criminal defence lawyers and barristers.
Since then, Julia has developed an interest in commercial law, particularly attracted to topics such as Directors Duties and commercial transactions. Upholding her interest in Indigenous studies, Julia is partaking in ongoing volunteering with the Aboriginal Justice Caucus Project through providing research assistance to the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody Review Report.
Julia is eager to continue her professional legal development at Nevett Ford.
