Emma Sutton is an Associate Director in Nevett Ford’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Employment and Workplace Relations teams.
Emma began her legal career with Nevett Ford in 2008, before expanding her experience through a variety of diverse legal roles. She has served as Legal Counsel in the employment law teams of ASX-listed multinational companies, as Senior Associate at a prominent New South Wales litigation firm and as Principal Solicitor at her own practice, Sutton Law. Emma also worked in the legal teams of the United Nations in Timor-Leste and the International Federation of Red Cross Societies in Switzerland.
Returning to Nevett Ford in 2024, Emma advises individuals and businesses across Australia in a wide range of litigious matters. She is passionate about empowering her clients, helping them feel confident, informed and actively involved in the legal process.
Emma was a finalist for Senior Associate of the Year at both the Women in Law Awards and the Australian Law Awards in 2022.
