Australian Visa Update – Immigration South Australia

Immigration South Australia (SA) has announced the following changes within that State’s General Skilled Migration (GSM) visa program:

  • Reduced work experience requirements for medical and health professionals working in South Australia – for graduates of SA higher education, living and working in Australia
  • Priority processing for medical and health professionals working in South Australia – will be prioritised and requesting priority processing
  • Changes to requirements for Subclass 190 visa nomination – applications closing for Subclass 190 for applicants not working in SA for last 12 months or 6 months in regional area, exemptions for specific occupations
  • Occupations closed to offshore applicants – Cafe or Restaurant Manager, Chef and Cook
